Dr. Rakesh Mahajan is the senior ophthalmic surgeon. He graduated from prestigious Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla and received his post-graduate (DOMS) from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Delhi. He was consultant eye specialist at Al Wahat Hospital, PDR Yemen for nearly 7 years and has been in private practice since 1986. He has a vast experience of more than 30 years of performing all sorts of anterior segment ophthalmic surgeries including cataract, IOL implantation, glaucoma, squint and oculoplasty. He also specializes in latest phacoemulsification technology for cataract surgery and lasik for glasses removal. In his glorious career, studded with numerous awards, he has performed nearly 10000 procedures and surgeries and has been widely recognized for the same. He is visiting consultant at Max Hospital, Pitampura. He is a life member of IMA, DOS and AIOS. He has been a speaker and has chaired at numerous national and international conferences.
