Dr. Subodh M. Shetty, one of India’s most renowned spine and joint surgeon now practices as a senior consultant in Bangalore. He is available for consultations at SMS Spine and Ortho Clinic at Koramangala and Banashankari. His Orthopaedic training was at KMC, Manipal and passed MS Orthopedics from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum. He worked at City Hospital and Research Center with Prof. Shantharam Shetty at Mangalore. He then moved to Mumbai where he worked at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai under Prof. P S Ramani and completed his fellowship in spine surgery. Following this, he trained in minimally invasive spine surgery at Fujita Health University at Japan in 2005. He also underwent specialized training for paediatric spine surgery and deformity correction in Germany.
