Niti has a Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from University of Mumbai and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics from the Leeds Metropolitan University, UK. She has gathered useful overseas experience having worked as a Senior Dietitian in UK. She has been a Visiting Faculty to the Postgraduate department and contributed chapters on nutrition in various books. She was the official nutritionist for the Femina Miss India 2008, Scooty Teen Diva 2008 and Grazia Ford Supermodel India 2008.
