Mirchia's Laser Eye Clinic is one of the oldest Eye care centers in the region. The institute was established with an aim to provide a multi-specialty portfolio of high quality ophthalmology services to local as well as out station patients including NRIs. The site was selected because of its close proximity to the ISBT, Chandigarh and the premises have been designed to provide a soothing and comfortable ambience. This centre was the first to introduce all kind of lasers i.e. ARGON laser, YAG laser, EXCIMER laser, PDT and TTT for various Eye ailments in the region. This was also the first centre to introduce stitch less surgery for cataract in the area.
