BSS Hospital was founded by Dr.B.S.Ayyappan in 1985 in memory of his father Justice.B.S.Somasundaram. Dr.Ayyappan has vast experience in the field of Cardiology for the past over 30 years. He was Asst. professor of Cardiology for over ten years in Madras Medical College. His son Dr.Harish Somasundaram has also joined him after finishing his super speciality course in Cardiology from Care Hospital Hyderabad. He is also a visiting Interventional Cardiologist to Apollo Hospital , Chennai and Dr.Kamakshi Memorial Hospital Chennai Leading Consultants of the city in various branches of medicine visit the hospital . With a team of efficient junior doctors and well trained nurses supporting the Senior Consultants, patients are taken good care of.
