It was a sense of patriotism combined with telling concern for the ailing people that inspired us to find Calcutta Heart Clinic & Hospital Society, as a non-commercial Socio Medical organization. This was registered in the year 1975 under West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961. This society stands on its firm objective to provide all sorts of Socio Medical services to the needy in general and to the under privileged, in particular, through its two fold activities since inception. On one hand it provides all sorts of in-house Cardiac and other medical treatment facilities with utter sincerity and warm hospitality at minimum possible cost. On the other hand it organizes a number of medical activities like holding of Pulse Polio programme, free Diabetic Clinic and distribution of free insulin among juvenile Diabetics, free preventive as well as curative medical camp at different slum areas, organizing various cultural programmes for emanicipation of ethical and moral values and participation in flood relief and disaster management in West Bengal and other parts of the country.
