Dr. Ami Shah pursued her DNB in pediatrics from Max Nanavati Super Specialty Hospital in Mumbai. Thereafter she decided to take up a niche and less known branch in the field of medicine – Clinical Genetics. She completed her course in the field accredited by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences from Seth G S medical college and KEM hospital in Mumbai. She has now been consulting at Charitable and private institutions for the last 5 years. Dr. Ami also enjoys spreading knowledge about Genetics and has herself conducted or been part of meetings both for medical professionals, parents, and siblings of those affected with genetic disorders. She has authored chapters in 4 Pediatric Genetic textbooks.
