Dr Doval is the Chief of Medical Oncology & Director (Research) with more than 30 years of experience in the field of Medical Oncology. He specializes in the treatment of solid tumors, with a particular focus on patients with cancers of breast, lung and gallbladder. In the field of clinical research he has participated in more than 60 International and national studies. He pioneered the first Phase 1 study in Oncology in India and has taken up anticancer drug development. He has also been involved in conducting efficacy and safety studies for many indigenously developed biosimilar molecules in India. During his career he has focused on helping patients manage their symptoms and improving their quality of life. As a part of this effort he has developed new models for the delivery of oncology care that provide medical excellence in settings convenient for patients and their families.
