Dr. Shacchee Khare Baweja graduated from APS medical college, Rewa and then pursued her Pediatrics diploma from University of Delhi and associated Kasturba Hospital which is one of the largest centre in heart of the Capital, in terms of obstetric services and deliveries.
During her initial years of training as pediatrician, she developed her interest in the field of breast feeding practices in India while her interaction with mothers as a Pediatrician. Subsequently, she joined Hindu Rao Hospital, where she pursued her DNB Degree in pediatrics and her dissertation was also on sick new borns and she had an opportunity to work with mothers of these sick and low birth weight new borns, who could not directly feed their babies but with a little support could provide their feeds for their sick babies.
